Director of Finance
Sonia Flores joined Dallas Seminary Foundation in August 2017. She grew up in Southern California and obtained her BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Azusa Pacific University. Her passion to work with non-profit organizations led her to Capin Crouse LLP, a national CPA firm whose focus is on non-profits. After graduation, she began working with the firm in the California office in 2001, moving to the Georgia office in 2003 before ending up in Texas in 2008 where she helped establish the Dallas/Fort Worth office. Her time with the firm gave her a wide breadth of non-profit accounting experience working with a variety of ministries from churches and mission-sending organizations to colleges and university as well as foundations. Her work with Capin Crouse led her to assignments all across the United States and even a few visits to locations such as Bolivia, Brazil, and Ecuador. She met her husband, Phillip, after her move to Texas and has two step-kids who live with them. She enjoys reading, musical theater productions, playing sports like basketball and volleyball, and spending time with family, whether it is in the pool or going out to the movies.
Cheryl Richardson joined the Foundation team in February of 2013 coming from Denver Seminary. A native of Denver, CO, Cheryl has managed accounting, marketing, and office responsibilities in both professional and ministry roles in Colorado, California, and in the Lone Star state. Usually serving beside her husband, Dennis, Cheryl has the gift of hospitality, is a sought after Bible teacher, group leader, and mentor. She and her husband enjoy their four children and six grandchildren spread across three states. When she's not working, Cheryl loves to sew, knit and love on their grandbabies.
Sucely has a passion for people and the word of God together. She was a Bible and Spanish teacher for five years in North Carolina and through this saw the need for biblical counselors to help teens and today's family. She moved to Dallas four years ago to be a full time student at Dallas Theological Seminary in pursuit of a Masters in Biblical Counseling. She is looking forward to graduating in May of 2018. When she is not deep in studies she likes to play her guitar and sing in worship to the Lord. She also enjoys getting to know new people and serving them in any way she can. She finds it a privilege to work for the Foundation serving God and His people.
